“It was 20 years ago today……….” (as the song goes) or, at least, it will be on March 1st 2011 when we’ll celebrate 20 years of the Manchester Telematics Initiative (as it was called in 1991) when we launched the Manchester Host, the UK’s first public access computer communications and information system, in Manchester Town Hall on March 1st 1991.
