Senior Digital Development Officer – Technology ( Grade 8 £29,728 to £33,291 (bar at £32,436)
Manchester Digital Development Agency – MDDA is looking for an individual with strong technology and communication skills with a good track record of project delivery to assist the management of the MDDA Technology Team.
You will research creative and innovative uses of current and emerging technologies and how they can be applied. Working closely with MDDA teams and project partners from government agencies, the community and voluntary sector, small businesses and the new media sector, you will support the delivery of the Digital Strategy for Manchester. You will make a key contribution to our programme of work using your skills and knowledge of ‘Web 2.0’ services, broadband, and rich media. You should also be able to communicate the benefits of technology and be capable of leading the delivery and evaluation of ICT focused training.
As a member of the management team you will contribute to the overall development of MDDA. You will also lead the management of day-to-day ICT support to MDDA’s offices and the contractual relationships with suppliers.
Knowledge of web development technologies (XHTML, CSS, PHP, SQL, etc.) would be desirable. You must have broad experience of using Microsoft Office and Windows XP, and have experience of using Mac OS X and Linux.

Digital Development Project Support Officer
Manchester Digital Development Agency – MDDA is looking for a self motivated individual to provide support to the MDDA staff team in the delivery of the Digital Strategy for Manchester and other initiatives promoting the use of technology to combat social exclusion. This includes assisting with the administration, management, monitoring, evaluation (including financial management) of projects along with close liaison with digital sector companies, arts and voluntary sector organisations.
