The Working Class Movement Library (WCML) is a collection of books, periodicals, pamphlets, archives and artefacts, concerned with the activities of the labour movement since the late 1700s.
About the work
The WCML is seeking a web development / design company to deliver a user friendly and well-designed site to make our holdings more accessible. The site needs to serve the needs of academics and other ‘expert’ researchers, teachers and school students, family historians, and people with a general interest in radical history. Much of the current site content is in the form of lists of publications. In the new site these will be added to an online catalogue providing a focal point.
The WCML is looking to develop a good working relationship with a supplier over a long period of time, and wants to work with a supplier who understands the constraints a voluntary sector organisation has to work within.
