Find Your Way in the Manchester Freelance Jungle

In response to increasingly difficult conditions for freelancers in the North West’s media industries, the Federation of Entertainment Unions and three affiliated unions - BECTU (for audio-visual and theatre workers), Equity (for performers and creative practitioners), and the NUJ (for journalists) - Have come together to bring training opportunities to their freelance members in the region.

Six training days will be held at the MDDA offices between Sept 2008 and April 2009.

  • Choosing & using Off the Shelf Websites
  • Money Matters - Basics of business management

Courses are £25 each and include Lunch.

You must be a practicing freelancer and a member of one of the unions listed above to attend.
